We are looking for friendly volunteers to help us collect and recycle Christmas trees across our three different UK locations. Every tree you collect helps raise funds for bereaved children and families. The holiday season, with its big build up in the shops and in the media, can be an especially painful time for those who are grieving, so your support at this time of year is greatly needed. It’s a hands-on, feel-good role that keeps you active and connected with your community.
Roles:
We have two different roles available at each of our locations:
Driver volunteer role
What you will be doing:
- You'll be behind the wheel, following a pre-planned route with another volunteer to assist you
- You'll be collecting trees along this route from outside of properties, loading them into the vehicle and delivering them to designated recycling points
- Completing compliance checks and maintaining your vehicle to the standard requirement
Assistant volunteer role
